Lasswade 12 - 47 Boroughmuir: Four star Sean Crombie outclasses Lasswade

BOROUGHMUIR preserved their hopes of progressing in the RBS Cup with a win that featured four tries by skipper Sean Crombie in a match which saw Lasswade’s Jack Forrester red-carded for a dangerous tackle.

Crombie and Jamie Swanson struck first for Boroughmuir with converted tries. Niall Gray raced in for the hosts but counters by Crombie and a self-converted effort from Ally Warnock saw the visitors into a 26-12 interval lead – Ian Wilson claiming a converted touchdown for the hosts.

Crombie bagged another brace of converted tries and Sep Visser got Boroughmuir’s seventh in injury time, while Warnock took his conversion tally to six.
