Junior sides find it tough at Peffermill

LACROSSE: Scotland topped up on experience but missed out on a victory in the Rathbones Junior Lacrosse Home Internationals at Peffermill in Edinburgh.

Celine Brown (Loretto Schol), Annabel Forbes (Glenalmond College) Rachel Smart (Aberdeen) and Connie Thurlow (Fettes College) were included in the Scottish A squad but they lost 11-16 to overall winners England and went down 13-23 to Wales.

The Scottish B squad lost 1-35 to England and put up a better fight against Wales before losing out 11-20.
