Ice Hockey: Caps suffer on the road

Edinburgh CAPITALS’ miserable run of form continued last night as they lost 5-2 at Coventry Blaze, their sixth straight defeat in ice hockey’s Elite League.

The result keeps them five points adrift of Fife Flyers at the foot of the table, with their Kirkcaldy rivals having played two games less.

Coventry were two up after 20 minutes with goals from Scottish defenceman Steven Chalmers, and Dustin Cameron, before Caps levelled with two strikes in the second period from Marcis Zembergs and recent signing Curtis Leinweber, his first for the club.
