Ice Hockey: Caps aim to bounce back

EDINBURGH CAPITALS aim to bounce back from two heavy defeats when they travel to fellow-strugglers Dundee Stars in ice hockey’s Elite League tomorrow (7pm).

An 8-3 home reverse to Coventry Blaze followed by a 6-1 defeat at Sheffield Steelers last weekend leaves the Murrayfield men in eighth spot in the ten-strong table with eight points from 12 games.

On Sunday, Capitals entertain Belfast Giants (6pm) in a Challenge Cup, Group A clash where only pride is at stake since the Northern Irish side and Braehead Clan have already booked their places in the semi-finals.
