Horse Racing: Grudge more than a match for his rivals

Grudge can take centre stage at Wolverhampton in the SP+ For Bigger Wins At totesport.com Handicap.

The five-year-old struck over five furlongs at the track in November after a spell on the turf during the summer that yielded one win at Lingfield.

Grudge certainly seems to be better on the all-weather, though, with four of his six wins coming on that surface.

His most recent verdict was a short-head success over The Tatling, racing prominently and looking to be beaten before rallying gamely to get back up.

The handicapper has not been too harsh on him for that victory and given his excellent attitude, it would be no surprise to see Grudge defy the extra 3lb this time.
