Hockey: Pumas beat Scots to take super league

SCOTLAND'S Under-21 side, masquerading as the Highland Jaguars, failed in their attempt to win the Great Britain Super League when they went down 4-2 to English side Pennine Pumas at Peffermill.

The other Scottish outfit Caledonian Cougars recorded their first win of the tournament with a 2-0 win over Welsh side Celtic Panthers.

Meanwhile, in the Subway national league Dundee Wanderers have probably staved off the spectre of relegation with a narrow 2-1 victory over Edinburgh University.
