Hockey: Hall missing for Inverleith

The league pace-setters face fourth-placed Kelburne and Dundee Wanderers, who are fifth.

And the form book suggests a comfortable passage.

Kelburne have 15 points from nine starts and Wanderers have 12 from the same number of games.

Inverleith have 25 points from nine fixtures and the Edinburgh club have a goal difference of plus-52 having scored 73 and conceded 21.

Kelburne have lost 48 goals and scored 47, while Wanderers have shipped 42 and netted 39.

Stuart Neave, Inverleith’s coach, who guided the club to the title two seasons ago, said: “We’re taking this a game at a time, but the  simple point is that if we win all our remaining five games we win the league.”

Edinburgh club, Grange, who are third, square-up to  sixth-placed Western and also Grove Menzieshill, who currently occupy second spot in the league.
