Hockey: Grange move into second

GRANGE took advantage of the postponement of the game between Glynhill Kelburne and Western Wildcats to move into second spot in the Subway national league, winning 4-0 against VWS Dundee Wanderers on Saturday.

Goalless at the interval, Grange opened the scoring after the break through Phil Sully. Duncan Riddell and Martin Kelly added two more with schoolboy Hamish Imrie getting the fourth.

Yesterday, however, Grange could only draw 3-3 with Grove Menzieshill, the Edinburgh side scoring through Rob Barr (2) and Andrew Brogdon while Oliver James (2) and Alex Blaikie were on target for the Taysiders.
