Hibs: Final Answer

Would you like to see Sol Bamba's Ivory Coast side win the African Nations Cup?

Davie Thompson, Sighthill: "I have watched some of the African Nations Cup and some of the football has been poor. Good luck to Sol and the Ivory Coast but I think Yogi will have a new centre half in place before the transfer window shuts. If Hibs were to receive silly money for Bamba we would be foolish not to take it as Bamba is not irreplaceable."

Chris Harrison Gorgie: "I hope Sol does well with the Ivory Coast, they have a great chance of winning the African Nations Cup. I think Hibs should keep a hold of Sol until at least the end of the season as Sol's price will rise with him playing in the World Cup. We have a great chance of ending this Scottish Cup hoodoo and with Sol in the team we have a great chance."

Peter McKenzie, Roslin: " Sol performs brilliantly for us in defence. It was one of Mixu's better moves to sign Sol and, while we will miss him as we would miss any international player, he will come back a better footballer and hopefully his country can win the ACN.

Simon Hume, Craigleith: "We have played two league games without him and while his absence slightly disables our defence, the weather has been kind in that he will not miss as many games as he could have. He is due back at the latest on 2 February and hopefully will be in place for the Scottish Cup game at the start of that month, which, after all, is our primary obsession this season."

Alan Baxter, Midlothian: "I'm proud we have a player good enough to grace the finals of a major world competition and he is getting the name of Hibernian FC broadcast around the globe. We should jut allow him to play and return when he does. If he helps us to third place or a Cup win then great, if he is sold on the back of his performances in the African Cup then it wont be until the summer and it will be a for a major sum of money and Hughes can use this money to strengthen us for next season. Win win all the way for Hibs."
