Hibs clash with Hamilton is postponed due to pitch conditions

HIBS' clash with Hamilton, which was due to be played at New Dougles Park tomorrow, has been postponed due to the wintry conditions.

Heavy snowfall this week has left the playing surface covered in 3500 tonnes of snow and, despite the help of volunteers and ground staff to clear the pitch, an inspection this morning deemed the ground unplayable.

The match is likely to be rescheduled for some time in January.

Meanwhile, Hearts' clash with Aberdeen is definitely ON after Tynecastle passed a safety inspection.
