Henderson on verge of £20m Anfield move

Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson today in a deal worth around £20 million.

The 20-year-old agreed personal terms and visited the club's training complex yesterday before undergoing a medical. Striker David Ngog could be used as a makeweight in the deal, while Sunderland are said to have tabled a bid in excess of 12m to Manchester United for Darron Gibson, Wes Brown and John O'Shea.
