Hala'Ufia given three-week ban

LONDON Irish forward Chris Hala'Ufia has been banned for three weeks for a dangerous tackle on Wasps fly-half Dave Walder during the 4 April Guinness Premiership clash at Adams Park.

The Exiles' No 8 pleaded guilty before an RFU disciplinary panel to the charge relating to an incident in Wasps' 33-22 win and is suspended until 5 May. He will be free to play again on Thursday, 6 May.

Hala'Ufia will therefore miss Sunday's match with Leeds and the fixture at Gloucester, but could return for the Exiles' final match of the regular season against Northampton on 8 May and the Guinness Premiership play-offs.
