Gordon Manson two shots clear in Portugal

St Andrews exile Gordon Manson moved back into the lead after the third round of the European Senior Tour's qualifying school final in Portugal.

The Austria-based Scot, who shared top spot after the opening round, leads by two shots after a two-under 69 for a five-under total of 208.

Former Scottish PGA champion Fraser Mann, who lost his card after a tough rookie season on the over-50s circuit, stayed on course for a swift return with a 70 to share eighth on 213, but Aberdeen's Peter Smith slipped out of the qualifying zone with a 76 for 216.
