Turnberry golf resort set for '˜Trump Tower'

Plans for a new clock tower at the Trump Turnberry have been given the go-ahead at the clubhouse in the South Ayrshire resort.

The clock will be around 19 foot high and will have four faces that are three foot wide.

It is understood that the clock tower will be a replica Seth Thomas, similar to the design at Grand Central Station in New York.

The new tower will be visible from the surrounding area and will be next to the Trump Fountain at the front of the clubhouse.
