Paul O’Hara heads for Coventry as top Scot
A one-under-par 68 at wet and windy Auchterarder yesterday earned O’Hara, who is attached to Clydeway Golf, top spot amongst 18 qualifiers from the Tartan Tour for the Powerade-sponsored event in the Midlands on 7-9 August.
O’Hara, whose older brother Steven is currently on the Challenge Tour, bagged six birdies as he finished a shot ahead of joint runners-up Scott McGrenaghan (Cochrane Castle) and Colin Robinson (Prestonfield).
