Archerfield to host ‘world first’ Nike Golf centre

ARCHERFIELD Links has achieved a “world first” after being selected by Nike Golf as the location for the company’s initial Performance Fitting Centre.

The new facility in East Lothian will open on July 7

The new facility will open on July 7 - just before this year’s Scottish Open - and follows a visit to the East Lothian venue last year by two-times major winner Rory McIlroy.

This facility, under the final stages of construction, will allow the consumer a full range of product, technology and fitting experiences, mirroring the service Nike Golf offers to its Tour players such as McIlroy and Tiger Woods.

“Nike Golf has deliberately taken some time to decide where we open our first location in the EMEA market that offers the consumer an experience that no other brand is able to deliver,”said Angus Moir, General Manager of Nike Golf, EMEA.

“At Archerfield Links we found a partner with similar values and ambition levels as Nike Golf as well as a facility that is second to none in a truly authentic location on Scotland’s Golf Coast.
