Golf: Turnhouse leave it late

TURNHOUSE picked up a valuable point at Kingsknowe as the West Edinburgh Winter League cranked into action again after the fetive break.

A strong pairing of Allyn Dick and Graham Muir for the home team comfortably saw off Steven Armstrong and his partner Lee McCathie 5 and 4 in the top match.

The old and new guard of the away team, Neil Anderson and Leigh Lawson, levelled the scores as they beat David McCann and Alan Crabbe.
