SEAN MARC retained the Galloway Trophy as leading qualifier for the 2011 Broomieknowe club championship with a score of 145.

"The weather took its toll on scores with members not able to remember a higher qualifying total of 160," reported Scott Porter.

Six players on that score had to endure a play-off for the remaining five places available, though not Jamie McIntosh, who recorded the low round of the day with 69 before the bad weather set in.
