Golf: Humble win

BOB HUMBLE was the overall winner in Duddingston’s first open event of the season, the Cecil Nimmo Seniors sponsored by Murray Volvo.

The Kilspindie man had a net 73 off three, while the age group winners on the day were Musselburgh’s Chris Milan (55-59 years), Stirling’s John Campbell (60-64), Selkirk’s John Hume (65-69) and the host club’s Ken Cairns (70+).

Murray Volvo sponsored this event for the first time and are sponsoring three Opens at Duddingston this year.
