Golf: Graham's joy

HOST club member Malcolm Graham won Newbattle's Whitburgh Cup, the latest Lothian Order of Merit event.

He shot rounds of 67 and 69 for a two-under-par aggregate and a three-shot win over Broomieknowe's Alan Sim (66, 73).

Graham's clubmate Stuart Thorburn (72, 68) and Craigielaw's Ross Noon (68, 72) both finished on 140.

Silverknowes stages the next order of merit-counting event this weekend.
