Golf: Craigielaw reign in Spain

CRAIGIELAW, Scotland's representatives, got off to a flying start in the Junior Team Golf Home Nations Inter-Club Championship in Spain, writes MARTIN DEMPSTER .

They crushed English opponents Maylands 5- in their opening match at the Polaris La Torre Resort at Murcia.

Bidding to win the event at the third time of asking, Craigielaw are being represented by Grant Forrest, Greg Smail, Euan Donaldson, Gabrielle MacDonald, Douglas Maxwell, Jack Dow and Euan Mackay.

They are due to take on Ireland's representatives, Rosslare, today, before bringing down the curtain on their campaign against Morriston from Wales tomorrow.
