Golf: County change

MIDLOTHIAN have been forced to make a late change to their side to defend the East Women's Inter-County title at Royal Musselburgh next week.

Craigielaw's Jane Turner has pulled out due to other commitments so her place has gone to rising Broomieknowe star Kate McIntosh, with Harburn's Arlene McGarty now first reserve.

The three-day event starts on Monday and Midlothian warmed up for their latest title defence with a 35-1 win over the Scottish University Golfing Society on Gullane No.2.
