Glasgow to lose Stuart Hogg for two months following ankle surgery

GLASGOW have confirmed that Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg will be out for up to eight weeks following ankle surgery.

The 20-year-old underwent surgery last week after being troubled by the injury since Scotland’s successful summer tour of Australasia.

Meanwhile, lock Tim Swinson faces three to six weeks out with a facial injury suffered in a pre-season friendly against Sale while medical staff are investigating hooker Pat MacArthur’s foot problem.
