George Watson's slalom to skiing success

It was a hugely successful day of racing for the George Watson's College ski teams at the Scottish Schools' Ski Association's Midsummer Dual Slalom Event at Midlothian Ski Sports Centre.

The Edinburgh school had four teams – two junior and two senior – representing them and they won gold in both the senior and junior categories. The senior B team also won bronze medals.

The Junior A gold-winning team was made up of
Sophie Anderson, Lucy Keir (both Primary 6), Jamie Anderson, Struan Calder and Tom Dalziel (all Primary 7).

The Senior A gold-winning team was Robbie Anderson, Andrew Greenshields, Duncan Greenshields, Duncan Kuwall and Alasdair Sandland.

The Senior B bronze-winning team consisted of Kirsty McCallum, Anna Buchanan, Jemma Clarke and Eilidh 
Skinner.
