Ziggy Gordon signs one-year deal with Partick Thistle

Ziggy Gordon has agreed to sign a one-year deal with Partick Thistle after leaving Hamilton Academical.

Gordon joined the Lanarkshire club’s youth system as a 10-year-old and was with them until his contract expired this summer.

After struggling to find a new club in the UK, having reportedly knocked back an offer from Poland, it was rumoured that Gordon would re-sign with Accies.

However, Partick Thistle have swooped in and nabbed the player with a 12-month offer.

It represents a good bit of business from the Firhill side, who are without first-choice right back Mustapha Dumbuya until the turn of the year through injury.
