Willie Collum sends off two in Gent clash with Lyon
SCOTS referee Willie Collum sent off two players last night as Belgian side Gent eked out a 1-1 draw with Lyon.
Collum sent off two players from the Champions League new boys during the Group H clash, with Brecht Dejagere and Thomas Foket both seeing red, the latter giving away a penalty that was saved by Gent ‘keeper Matz Sels.
Christophe Jallet gave Lyon the lead midway through the second half, with Danijel Milicevic restoring parity ten minutes later.
Gent, who can count former Celtic defender Rami Gershon in their ranks, will also have to face Spanish giants Valencia and Russian cracks Zenit St Petersburg in Group H.
