It took a last-gasp winner from substitute striker Kevin Watt to secure Bo’ness a place in the last 16 of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup.

In dreadful underfoot conditions, the visitors made the breakthrough just before half-time when a corner from Lee Duffy was headed on by John Stewart to Chris Donnelly who side-footed the ball in off the bar.

In 68 minutes, Bo’ness were awarded a very soft penalty, Nicky Walker being brought down by Steven Dolan and Ian Nimmo made no mistake from the spot.

Sauchie pulled one back in the 75th minute when Ally Burns headed home. Two minutes later and they were level. In a scramble following a corner Gary Carroll slammed the ball into the net.

The game was heading for a replay when, deep into injury-time, a Duffy corner was headed on by Scott Gibb to Watt and he scored the winner from six yards.
