Vale appoint new bosses

Vale OF LEITHEN have acted quickly to appoint a new management team after the resignation of Jamie Burrell following Tuesday night’s 3-0 defeat from Edinburgh University.

The East Seniors Central Taxis Premier Division club have named former Hibs kid Fraser Ogilvie and current Spartans player Kerr Dodds as their new co-managers, with Ogilvie taking over immediately and Dodds to join him when he is released from his registration at Spartans.

Ogilvie is currently managing Lochend Amateurs while Dodds is awaiting an operation to repair a cruciate ligament. Vale are currently third bottom in the league although they do have several games in hand over all of the teams above them.
