HUTCHIS0N Vale 15s showed little mercy against Tynecastle’s ten-men after running riot with a 9-0 win in the SPORTSassist South East Region Cup final at New Countess Park.

A depleted Tynecastle side were up against it from the first whistle, a combination of injuries and others being cup-tied enabling only ten players on the field from the start.

Hutchie netted in the first minute through Ryan Fox’s neat finish from a cross from Cameron Milne, who added his own name to the scoresheet seven minutes later.

Fox struck again after 20 minutes before Lewis Swaney showed terrific composure in lifting the ball over Tynecastle goalkeeper Kieran Green for number four of the afternoon.

Fox completed his hat-trick on the half hour mark and Innes Goodall hit number six.

Goodall struck a seventh into the top left corner before Cameron Fraser scored with a composed effort from ten yards to make it 8-0.

Gabrie Auriemma completed the scoring with a looping header for Hutchie’s ninth.
