Steve Clarke is keen to add the pair as he looks to bolster both his squad and has put them through their paces at training.

A product of the club’s youth academy, Muirhead left Rugby Park in 2015 to sign for Dundee United in a £150,000 deal. He’s since played for Partick Thistle, Hearts and MK Dons.

Tshibola, meanwhile, enjoyed a decent loan spell in the latter half of last season, including playing his part in a 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox.

The English-born Congolese international has been told he’s surplus to requirements at English Championship side Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, Kilmarnock have completed the signing of Greg Stewart on a season-long loan deal from Birmingham City.
