Tommy Wright '˜furious' after players delayed in traffic

St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright has hit out at some of his players after they were caught in traffic forcing them out of the starting XI.

Michael O’Halloran and Richard Foster, who were expected to start against Kilmarnock, were held up travelling from Glasgow due to a road traffic accident.

O’Halloran has been named on the bench, while Foster has been left out completely, along with Denny Johnstone and Chris Millar who were also believed to have been caught in traffic.

In an interview with BBC Sportsound Wright said he was “furious” that he had been forced to make changes.

The Northern Irishman noted that other players had made it to McDiarmid Park and that it was the players responsibility to be on time.
