Dalkeith Thistle 2Falkirk 2

Thistle applied most of the early pressure but Falkirk netted two goals in the space of a minute. Martin Ure scored with a 20-yard shot on 28 minutes and was quickly followed by Ross Kane tapping in from a Kris Myles cut-back. The hosts were stunned and there was more despair in the closing minutes of the first half, striker Kevin Haynes given a straight red for dissent after contesting an offside decision. Thistle manager Willie Pearson altered his formation at half-time, introducing substitute Steven Pudledski in a three man strike-force and he was to make a significant impact. He scored from the penalty spot on 57 minutes, after Henry Soblewski tripped David Morris inside the area. The equaliser arrived on 71 minutes, Pudledski chesting in a Kenny Fisher cross from close range.
