THE jaunty Jags were up for the cup on Saturday, when the Firhill faithful headed to Culter for their third-round tie in the William Hill Scottish Cup.

The travelling fans gave their heroes a warm welcome as they emerged from the pavilion at Crombie Park. But the ensuing 1-1 draw didn’t go down well with some of Partick’s we’re-too-good-for-this brigade, and the manager and his young players fell victim to sustained foul abuse as they walked the gauntlet to the dressing-rooms. The embarrassing footage appeared on youtube – but was removed yesterday.
