PETERHEAD made it seven wins in a row as they continued their preparations for the Third Division play-offs.

Peterhead 3, Clyde 0

Peterhead warmed up nicely for the play-offs with a seventh-straight league win.

Andy Rodgers’ 44th minute volley put the hosts in front. After the break Rodgers headed a second.

Peterhead’s talisman Rory McAllister buried a third from the spot.

Stirling Albion 1, Elgin City 1

Elgin’s play-off ambitions are all but dead after this draw.

Paul Harkins supplied the ammunition for Craig Gunn to fire home the opener for Elgin in the 12th minute.

However, Stephen Day lashed home an equaliser for Stirling.

Montrose 1, Queen’s Park 2

Montrose now require a minor last day miracle to make the play-offs.

Anthony Quinn headed the visitors in front in the 43rd minute and, after Martin Boyle had levelled on the hour, Scott Gibson netted the Queen’s winner. David Gray and Giuseppe Capuano were ordered off.

Berwick Rangers 0, Annan Athletic 2

Berwick Rangers are still on course for a play-off spot despite falling to Annan Athletic at Shielfield.

Scott Chaplain volleyed the visitors ahead on the stroke of half time.

Berwick’s Lee Currie was dismissed on 86 minutes before Martin McNiff scored in stoppage time.
