Thanks for Muamba suppport

BOLTON manager Owen Coyle has written message of thanks to everyone connected with Tottenham for their care and support of Fabrice Muamba following his collapse at White Hart Lane.

Muamba, 23, suffered a cardiac arrest during the FA Cup quarter-final tie on March 17 and it took medics 78 minutes to resuscitate him. The Bolton midfielder remains in intensive care at the London Chest Hospital but he has made “encouraging progress”, according to doctors.

Coyle wrote in the programme for last night’s rescheduled tie: “On behalf of everyone at Bolton Wanderers and our supporters, I would like to offer our sincere thanks to Tottenham Hotspur - the staff, players, management and fans - for their support for Fabrice and his family at this difficult time.

“We have been truly humbled by the care and concern shown by you all for Fabrice.

“The family have appreciated the many messages of support from Spurs fans.”
