RANGERS manager Mark Warburton remains open to signing former Watford and Derby midfielder John Eustace.
The Ibrox club have announced the 35-year-old would start training at Murray Park next week with a view to agreeing a contract.
An article on the club website read: “Mark Warburton is an admirer of John’s leadership qualities and also his professionalism.
“The former Derby County player and the Rangers manager have been talking about a move for some time and have now agreed to work together over a three to four-week period which will allow both sides to make further and proper assessments.
“This extra time will also allow the club’s medical experts and coaching staff scope to study John’s fitness levels before any agreement can become binding.”
