The next manager of Rangers will be handed a generous transfer kitty to reshape the ailing Ibrox squad, according to the Daily Record.
Having spent around £8million in the summer window to back Pedro Caixinha, various news outlets wondered whether the Rangers board had the finance to sack the struggling head coach.
However, Rangers dismissed such concerns by pulling the trigger on Thursday afternoon, firing Caixinha after less than seven months in the job.
It is understood that Dave King and the rest of the Rangers board will be prepared to pay compensation to find the right man for the job if required.
Once the process is done, the next head coach will be backed in the January window in order to fix a fractured and underachieving first-team.
