Done deal: Rangers complete loan signing of defender Joe Worrall

Rangers have confirmed the signing of defender Joe Worrall on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.

The centre-back becomes Steven Gerrard’s 13th signing of the summer.

The 21-year-old is a product of the Nottingham Forest youth system, making his debut in 2016. He has made more than 50 Championship appearances for the club.

He gained experience in League 2 when on loan Dagenham and Redbridge during the 2015-2016 season.

Last season he was a first-team regular but has fallen down the pecking order during the summer after an extensive recruitment drive at the City Ground.

He has represented England at under-20 and under-21 level, leading the side to victory in the 2017 Toulon Tournament and has since won three caps for the 21s.
