Rangers are set to offer Alfredo Morelos a new deal at Ibrox, in a bid to stave off interest from Bordeaux.
The Ligue 1 side are understood to be keen on the Colombian striker, while Rennes and an unnamed third team have also expressed an interest.
The Ibrox side threw out an offer of around £3.75 million earlier this month and now look set to tie up Morelos on a new, improved deal.
He only signed an initial new deal in March, keeping him at Rangers until 2021 but now looks set to be offered new terms.
Morelos has scored six goals in 10 matches under Steven Gerrard and earlier this week received his first call-up to the Colombian national team.
He said earleir this month: “My ambition is to play for Colombia at a World Cup and give the people of my country a lot of joy - I hope the selectors have been watching me.”
Morelos was one of three Gers praised by Ufa boss Sergei Tomarov after the match at Ibrox last week.
