Inverness CT have extended the loan of striker Miles Storey until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 22-year-old arrived in the Highland capital on transfer deadline day to aid the Scottish Cup holders, who’d struggled in the opening month of the season, particularly in front of goal.
Storey netted on his debut, scoring the second in Caley Thistle 2-0 win over Hearts, and he’s helped drag the club up the league table.
He’s since gone on to score eight goals in 16 appearances, while his hard running and dribbling ability contributes to the ICT attack as a whole.
John Hughes revealed in December they were in constant communication with the striker’s parent club Swindon Town over an extension to the previous loan, which was due to expire next week.
They have now refealed their success in persuading Swindon to let the player remain at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium until the summer.
