Patrick Roberts has been ruled out for the foreseeable future according to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

The loan star picked up a hamstring injury during the club’s midweek draw with Motherwell, leaving the game after 11 minutes.

Speaking to BBC Rodgers said that the Englishman will be out for the “foreseeable future”, likely to be up to three months.

The Celtic manager confirmed that he will return to parent club Manchester City for treatment.
