Celtic strolled to their third Glasgow Cup Final win with an emphatic win over Rangers last night.
The Parkhead club’s Under-17 hoisted the silverware before less than 3,000 fans, most of whom were schoolchildren who had been handed tickets to the closed doors affair at Ibrox.
Rangers had a couple of early opportunities before Celtic opened the scoring through Michael Johnston on 21 minutes. From that point on there was only going to be one winner with Jack Itchison passing up a good chance before Broque Watson made it 2-0 on 38 minutes.
An Aidan Wilson own goal put the game to bed nine minutes after half-time before Kieran Patrick Campbell rounded off the victory with a goal two minutes from time.
