Steve MacLean looking for 'permanent deal'

STEVE MacLean will only move to an SPL club who offer him a permanent deal, according to his agent. Aberdeen, Hearts and Falkirk have all expressed an interest to sign the Plymouth Argyle forward, but only a loan deal has been offered so far.

MacLean's agent, Blair Morgan, said: "Steve doesn't want to go anywhere on loan. We have made that very clear to both clubs. He has got a young family and a house in Plymouth. If he's going to move to Scotland, he wants to get his career on track somewhere. Aberdeen are certainly very keen to sign Steve, but we are still waiting to hear from Hearts."
