SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

WHEN you play as openly as we do, two things can happen when you go to the Old Firm.

Your system works and you get a point, or it doesn’t and you get thrashed. And so, after the high of our last-gasp point at Ibrox in October, we had to settle for a bit of a doing against Celtic on Saturday.

There’s no point getting down about it – after all, the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal have already taking drubbings this season – but I’m betting Danny Lennon was glad he’d sorted out his new contract a few days before the game!

A home game against Inverness Caley Thistle is the perfect chance to get things back on track as we head into a difficult December and a victory is an absolute must if we want to continue with our push for the top six.
