SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

In the last few years our big problem has been conceding late goals. Now that we seemed to have solved that, we’ve started leaking them early.

Perhaps it’s the lesser of the two evils as it gives us the whole match to get back into things.

We weren’t the only team at it at the weekend either although, unlike Barcelona, we weren’t able to win after going behind early.

While losing early goals is frustrating, the recent form of Kenny McLean is not. The young midfielder doesn’t seem to be able to stop scoring now and Saturday’s goal will no doubt result in rumours of a move down south resurfacing. However, it was overshadowed by Graham Carey’s stunning free-kick – far better than anything Ronaldo or Messi were able to produce in El Clasico. Hopefully the pair can do it again at Fir Park this weekend.
