SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

OUR problem against Celtic this season has been conceding a couple of early goals and not giving ourselves a chance. On Saturday, we managed to avoid that and should have taken at least a point.

We battered them at the start of the second half and, had it not been for Fraser Forster, we’d have been a couple of goals up before they took the lead. Even then, we were unlucky not to get an equaliser that would have given us a deserved draw.

The really frustrating thing was most of the teams below us getting good results. Moreover, with them all having games in hand, there’s an increasing chance we could find ourselves in a relegation battle once again. Plaudits are all well and good, but we need to start getting some points on the board, starting with Saturday’s trip to Inverness.
