Finally Saints have some football to look forward to after the fog and an international break interrupted our campaign, although it may be a bit of a dubious pleasure travelling down the road to Ibrox for Steve Lomas’s first game in charge.
My one hope is that the new manager goes for a 4-4-2 formation – the same way McInnes did at Parkhead for our glorious 1-0 win earlier this season.
I’m not expecting much from the game – a positive performance and a narrow defeat would probably suffice. But there’s no reason to meekly roll over and let the reigning champions walk all over us. We need to be at them from the word go and try to feed our strikers as best we can. They may be knocking over all comers this season but Rangers are by no means unbeatable.
