SPL Fanzone: Motherwell

After weeks and weeks of things getting better, we finally hit a barrier in the east end of Glasgow. However, a one-goal loss away to the champions-elect is hardly a disaster. Indeed, we should just carry on as though that game never happened at all.

St Johnstone winning moved them closer to us and United’s win at Hearts confirms their status as European hopefuls, too. But we are still in pole position.

We have a great chance to get back on track this Saturday but Dunfermline away is also a potential banana skin. They are still without a home win this season and we can take nothing for granted if they are not to end that streak.

But the fact is we are much stronger than Dunfermline presently and could hardly have asked for a better fixture after a loss.
