SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock

I CANNOT be the only person to think that Hearts fans must hate the sight of us at Tynecastle by now. Even with Jurassic Jim consigned to the Gorgie garbage pail, we still managed to take all three points back to Ayrshire on Saturday.

We got a bit of a head start when Ian Black was sent packing for a bad two-footed challenge. He’s one of those players that opposition fans love to hate but would welcome to their own team but he should have known better. It would be fair to say that we pretty much dominated the game, although it took a penalty to separate the sides in the end. The referee played a big part but seemed to get most of his decisions right.

After yesterday’s draw we now have a League Cup semi-final against our neighbours from south of Symington to look forward to. Ayrshire derby for TV, please. There’s more to Scottish football than Old Firm games.
