SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock
It was relief as much as anything as there was always the chance that they could have nicked a goal on the break. A lot has been said by both managers in the media with Shiels taking flak for criticising Reid’s negative approach but even his own players were not too happy to be told to keep it that tight and, when they were chasing the game, we looked quite vulnerable at times with a new pairing of Pascali and Nelson in the middle of defence. They should have at least given their fans something to shout about.
It is cup fever again for us this week with a trip to Easter Road and here’s hoping we can make good progress in the other cup as well.
